And for more immediate means to update everyone on what is happening in the community, we make use of a mass phone message distribution system.
Since St. Lucie West is home for Spring Training for the New York Mets, residents can also catch baseball stars in action. One of the Indian River State College campuses is also near by, where you can take Lifelong Learning courses and visit the community library.
While we have almost everything we need at hand, just a ten-minute drive towards the town of Tradition offers more shopping, big stores, restaurants, and seasonal festival and events. Tradition also features sculpture parks, interactive fountains, and tranquil waterways; and is home to Lake Tradition, which offers 45 acres of outdoor activities. For even more aquatic enjoyment, the Atlantic Ocean is only a thirty minute drive away from Lake Forest.
And we are blessed with an abundance of recreational areas in Port St. Lucie (40) and St. Lucie County (70) that offer dozens of outdoor activity opportunities.
